Happy Halloweenie and Daddy's Birthday

Juda had a great 1st Halloween Holiday and 3 costumes later it ended. He started his celebration at his school Halloween party. Juda was the scary little skeleton. The infant room wasn't as exciting as the bigger kids, but there were some really cute babies. As a family, we celebrated our friend Rachel's birthday in character. Every year she has a costume theme birthday party. The Benson's brought their "A" game as the Simpson's but still didn't take home best dressed. I feel that there needs to be some consolation prize for parties containing more than 2 people.

On the actual day of Halloween, we went to Grandma Sue and Grandpa Marv's for dinner and to help pass out candy. Leif and I opted out on trick or treating with Juda though. The weather was nice and we could have gone... but really??? Who was gonna eat all that candy? We already had our fill with all the treats Sue and Marvin had. Our other fun part of the evening was Juda getting to meet his friend from Down Under. Abby and her family, Melissa and Des, also joined us for dinner. So we had ourselves a little play date too.

This past weekend Juda spent celebrating Daddy's Birthday. Leif turned 35 on the 6th. OLD MAN...So he thinks. We also had Keegan, so we decided to have birthday dinner at Todai. All you can eat Sushi and Seafood buffet. We all left full, including Juda. He loved the noodles and tofu. Last night we enjoyed the last of the birthday celebration at Papa Hyden's for dessert with Leif's parents, sister and Aunt Sam. And again, Juda is a spoiled little boy. Grandma even let him get Sorbet to join in the dessert festivities.

He is a very much loved boy who is being spoiled already. Juda is hoping for some more spoiling here this week. We are headed back to Indiana Wednesday. It's just Juda and I this trip. We will miss daddy but look forward to seeing all our Midwest Family and Friends. Wish us safe travels. I know this trip is gonna be harder now than what he was when he was 6 weeks old. It will be all worth it in the end though.

Take Care!
