Fall Phun
It has been a busy busy fall for this Benson Family. However we have got to enjoy the Fall Season. We celebrated the Halloween season with a trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Bi-Zi Farms offers a lot of fun for the little ones. Juda enjoyed feeding the goats and looking at the animals on the farm. He got to take his first pony ride. He was not the bit afraid either. He also loved the pumpkin sling shot with Daddy. We took a hayride to the pumpkin field to pick out the very best pumpkins. As for carving the pumpkin, Juda wasn't as eager to play with the slimey guts. He did love the pumpkins lit up though.
We spent Halloween at Grandma and Grandpa Benson's home. Sue had baked a yummy filled pumpkin for dinner. Afterwards we took to the street to get our candy fix. My little Gnomeo was a natural trick or treater. He loves candy too! He got more than his fair share that night. Now we use it as a potty treat.
We celebrate Leif's birthday with a surprise trip to the coast. Every one was surprised too. Mom can keep a good secret. I was able to get a room directly on the beach that had a indoor pool, hot tub and allows pets. Pyper loves the beach as would any dog that loves to run wildly on the beach. The weather was actually decent the day we got there so we were able to get some beach time in. And Yes, Little Miss Sunshine even decided to show herself while we were there. No trip is complete without a trip to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Who doesn't love Cheese and Ice Cream. We sure do.We also visited the Blue Heron Cheese Farm. They make more French cheese there. We enjoyed their brie and some tastes of wines. 1 night is never enough time away to enjoy the coast but it is always well worth it. Especially for the fish and chips. We look forward to our next trip there.
As for trips we are also excited for our up coming Holiday trip back to the midwest. We will be celebrating the holiday and Juda's birthday back in Indiana. I am also looking foward to this quarter of school being over. I love being in the learning environment again but it eats up all my extra time to blog. So until next time... TAKE CARE!
Love Always,
Spring and the rest of the Benson Family
